Passbolt Android 2.1.0: Introduces performance enhancements and new translations
Passbolt Android 2.1.0 is now available with several enhancements focused on performance and security.
This release brings a performance boost when processing the resource list, especially visible when decrypting V5 resource list. It also aligns with the latest Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) policies ensuring users only share passwords as permitted by their organisation’s settings.
This release introduces translations for 13 new languages, including German, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Lithuanian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Slovenian, Swedish, and Ukrainian. Some of these translations are currently in beta, and we appreciate your feedback to help improve their accuracy.
Additionally, Passbolt Android 2.1.0 adds two significant security features: a new metadata key pinning mechanism and an upgraded cryptographic library (gopenpgp, bumped from version 2 to 3).
This update also resolves issues reported by the community. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed valuable feedback and helped improve Passbolt.
