Passbolt iOS 2.3.0 ships with improvements in security, usability, and performance.
On the security side, the new clipboard flush mechanism keeps copied secrets in the clipboard for 30 seconds so the user can paste them where needed. After this period, the secret is cleared from the immediate paste buffer, ensuring it can’t be pasted unintentionally. Please note that the content may still reside in the system clipboard history.
For usability, passwords are now color-coded by character groups to improve readability. This makes it easier to distinguish between letters, numbers, and symbols at a glance, helping reduce errors when manually entering or verifying credentials. Font sizing has also been optimized for better legibility across all screen sizes.
In terms of performance, several issues have been resolved that should improve significantly the user experience when loading the applications, especially for users having an important amount of resources under management
As always, thank you to everyone who took the time to file issues and suggest improvements.
